!My Top 11 makeup Prodcucts of 2011!

So since today is New Years Eve it is time to round off my top 11 makeup products I used the most this year!

So:
2 face
2 eyes
2 lips
2 nails
2 hair
1 palette

FACE:
1. Urban Decay All Nighter Setting Spray. This stuff is just amazing. I just ran out of my first bottle and I need a new one ASAP. This spray keep your makeup on for so long!
2.Maybelline Dream Mousse blush in Peach Satin. I always come back to this blush when I dont know what to wear. It just soo pretty and light with like gold littler shimmers.

EYES:
1. Cover girl Country Woods Quad. I cant stress to you enough how much I wore this. I hit pan on two of the colors. They just looked so good on my eyes!
2. Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden. Wow I finally got my first primer to keep my eyeshadow on and this is amazing. It evens out my skin tone on my lid and it keeps my eye shadows from creasing. I just love it.

LIPS:
1. EOS lip Balm in Sweet Mint. Okay these lip balms make your lips so smooth and ugh I used my everyday and I still do. I even bought a second one!
2. Maybelline Color Sensational Lipstick in Citrus Slice. This lipstick was part of one collection where it suppose to look like you ate a Popsicle. The Lipstick itself is like clear like you can see through the lipstick. When you put it on your lips it is like a perfect tint of pink.

NAILS: ( This is hardd!)
1.Nicole by O.P.I in the Color "Baby" Blue. Yes this is from the Justin Bieber line but thats not why I like it. It is just such a unique pretty blue on your nails. It stays on forever and I wore it sooo much this summer.
2. Essie in the color California Coral. I love this color. I dont own any Coral nail polishes but this one is so prettyyy.

HAIR:
1. Sultra Flat Iron. I loveee this flat iron so much. The one before I was using was soo bad. All the color on the plates were coming off and it was horrible. So my mom said to get a good flat iron that will last me forever and this one will! It did cost a pretty penny but for me I flat Iron my hair almost everyday so it was worth it!
2. Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition Nutrient Spray. I have been using this since my Birthday in March. It just makes me feel like my hair is getting all the Vitamins it needs and it makes my hair feel supper soft after too.

PALETTE:
1. Urban Decay Naked Palette: This is def a no brainier! Man I used this so much this summer when I got it and I have already resivred for my Naked 2 palette at Ulta! This was one of the best $50 I have spent this year! I recommend everyone to get it!

Be yourself

I know this is nothing beauty related but I wanted to do a post about my nephew Carter. I really wanted to talk about self esteem and being you and not caring what other people think. And your thinking what does this have to do with Carter, a little baby boy who is only a 13 months old? Well Carter recently had to wear a helmet for almost the whole year of his life. People always stared, gave weird looks, and admittedly jumped to conclusion that he had mental problems or maybe down syndrome etc... Im very blessed and lucky that he didnt but he did have plagiocephaly which just means his head was a not exactly round and kinda slanted. Carter is very lucky to have parents that love him a lot and made sure that his head could be corrected. I would go out with Carter and my sister right after we got the helmet and it was an adjustment. I remember, I don't know where we were, but someone had stared and started pointing and whispering. I looked right at them and they saw me but didn't smile or anything. Its rude in general to stare at anyone but when I look directly at you and your whispering and pointing come on now. I could never imagine sitting and staring at baby and whispering about the way they look right in front of the parents. Im not saying everyone was mean and like that. Carter always got a smile from people and Carter would smile right back like the nice boy he is.

What I'm really trying to say is that judgment of a person starts when you're young. It is sad to say but it does. I really learned a lot from Carter. He is just a baby and of course didn't know that he has a helmet(well he did because it was on his head but you know what I mean lol.). He would laugh, smile and be the happy baby I know everyday. He didnt care that yeah he may look different and people were staring. He was being him and that all that matters.

I'm a teen right now and peer pressure to look skinny, have flawless skin, and the newest stuff is always a struggle. So this is why I wanted to write this and have a story to share. I get insecure with myself time to time but I have always been confident with myself too. Sure things affect me and I'm not perfect but I know who I am and what I let affect me and and make my day bad. I dont try to impress people. I like looking cute and have a flawless face because it makes me feel good. So if someone stares at me, talks bad about the way I look. I just try to be like Carter and smile on.

Christmas Makeup

Hey guyss!
So I wanted to do a post on what makeup items I got for xmas! I have got to try these out so I have a little review on them.(;

I first got a duo from benefit of their box powders! These were at Ulta on black friday. These two blushes are no longer being sold so this duo was only $19. One is originally $28! The colors are beautiful. The first color is Georgia! It is light peachy blush. Not to much shimmer. But it smells amazinggg! It really does smell like peaches. Yum!
Next one is Thrrrob. This is a pinky with plum color blush. This does have some shimmer but not a lot to notice it on the face.

I next got two lip products! I first got the Revlon Lip Butter in Strawberry Shortcake. Thanks sissy for buying it for me! The lip butters are so hard to find! They have been the big thing this month and every time I go to a drug store or Target they are always sold out! The color is a like barbie pink color. I usually dab it on my lip so its not so bright.

I next got a MAC lipstick in Creme Cup! Its such a pretty dusty rose pink color. It a everyday color you can wear all the time and I really loveee it.!

Hey everyone! I haven't posted in a while but I wanted to share some pic of my Christmas. (: Christmas Eve my mom and dad and I all went to church then for dinner went to TGIF yum! In the morning Briana, Russ, and Carter came over and we opened presents! The headed off to my Aunts! Im so grateful for all the wonderful gifts I got and being with my family! My bigest thing was my new Missioni Bed Spread! Im re-doing my whole room while off brake and getting to paint. Im soo exicted! The pic at the top is what it is! Naked Pallet 2!

Yes Urban Decay who is so famous for there NAKED pallet they have came out with a 2nd one. It was released today. I have been looking at other blogs and and seeing swatches and the colors may seem similar but there not. This pallet has more matte colors, mild golds, and taupe colors. I own the first Naked and I just got it this summer but this 2nd one is soo pretty. D: Half Baked is the only repeat color.I may be spending xmas money on it! :D

New polish Alert: kardashian kolors

So Nicole by O.P.I teamed up with the one and only Kardashian girls to come out with each of there own personalized nail color. Each girl has 2 or 3 colors in there collection. And it isnt just Kim, Kourtney and Khole its also Kris the mom and the two younger sisters Kendall and Kylie! I dont understand why Kendall and Kylie are in it because there not even a Kardashian there last name is Jennar but whatever. I first wanna start off and say Kim's color were the boring est and ugliest. Like so not fun. It was a baby manicure pink, and white. But I did love one color from Khole's and omg this really pretty sparkle one from Kylie's. I did end up surprisingly getting one from Kendalls collection. I have been on a look out for a pink nail polish so I decide to get hers. I also got one for my sister. I got her one from Kourtneys and its soo pretty and a color my sister doesnt have.
I bought them at Walmart by the way!

So for Halloween weekend I decide to pain my nails Halloween -ey !
I used the "shatter" or "crackle" polish that was super new a while ago. I got it like a few months ago and I I only used it once. But omg it came in great hand when I painted my nails this week because it looks so good for Halloween(:

Tokidoki Barbie

AHHHH. I have always loved barbies. It was my thing when I was younger and I never was like a baby doll fan I just loveddd Barbie. And its funny I'm writing this because I was going through my millions of barbies in the garage packed away because my mom wanted to know if she could sale them!! UHHHH NO. When I'm 30 and in debt because I spent my money on shopping and those Barbies are now considered collectibles they will become handy! (; Anyway off topic. So Tokidoki is becoming such a huge Cosmetics Company and they sale it at Sephora and online. I got my first tokidoki eyeshadow almost a year ago for xmas and I love it. The packageing is adroable! And thats why I was first drawn to it. Now Tokidoki has teamed up with Barbie and has a made one a super cool new Barbie! She has a cute pink bob and tattoos all over! I love it. I think shes trendy cute and ugh if she was made when I played with Barbie she would definitely be my fave. They have teamed up with Smashboxs comsetics also a while back. Lets just say Tokidoki is becoming big!

Review on Maybelline Dream Mousee Matte Foundation

Hey everyone! I haven't done a blog in a while, I have just been busy busy busy! With school work of course.BLEGH. Anyway I thought a review of a product with be easy to do. So maybelline came out with a line of Mouse textured products almost like 2 or 3 years ago I think. I had tryed there mouse blush in Peach Satin and I lovedd it. So I decide to go ahead and purchase the foundation.

Now the texture of it is very much like mousse like if you every had the like the yogurts that are chocolate mousse or whatever thats how they feel but a little bit thicker. At first I was confused on how to apply something like this? So I started using my just a standard foundation brush which took foreverrrr to apply on your face. So I decided to try my Beauty Blender. A beauty blender is a big sponge kinda cone shape sponge that you damp it with water and it expands.

ANYWAY so with that I just kinda press it into the mousse and apply it!

MY THOUGHTS:
I like it! You really just have to find a good way to apply it to your face is the trick. I know for me this doesn't sink into my pours like other foundations I have tried. I will say this does tend to get me oily. If you are on the side for normal to dry skin this will definitely not dry you out. Color is a medium to full coverage. It defiantly doesn't feel cakey on your face. The color on your skin comes off darker then what the color says it is. But not that noticeable. Overall its not the best but its not the worst. You really have to try it out for yourself. I dont think I would re purchase it.

Hey so I decided to finally wear this lipstick I got from Revlon a while ago in the color Siren. And its defiantly out there and bright but I thought it was so cute! My eyes I did all over the lid a matte brown and pretty much that's it. Also I did a winged eyeliner since the eye was so simple. Hope you enjoy xoxox

Taylor Swifts New Frangrance!

My sister just sent me a ad from ulta saying that Taylor Swift is coming out with a new Fragrance called Wonderstruck. Im excited! This is defiantly going on my xmas list! The packaging is adroable and the name is cute too! I'm so happy she finally came out with one and she also said this fragrance was inspired by her song Enchanted that she wrote and one of the lyrics she says, "I'm wonderstruck blushing all the way home.." Also if you dont already know Enchanted is my favorite SONG of hers for both CDS and it reminds me of my nephew Carter because it is the song I listened to alllll week of the week he was born. <3 It so pretty and I just cant wait for the fragrance to come out in Ocotober!

Your own lip sugar scrub!DIY

So I recently have been wanting to get Lush's sugar scrub. My lips always have so much dead skin and yucky stuff on there I really wanted to get something to exfoliate it. So Lush's sugar scrub was about $9 so i decided to look up a way to make your own! I tried it out and it worked soooo goooood. I'm glad I didn't buy the other thing. All you need is SUGAR, HONEY, and VASELINE. Mix them all together and BAM there you go! Now for the amount of each thing is usually just a teaspoon size. You rub it all on your lips really good then wipe it off with a paper towel. Then feel your lips and they are soooo smooth. After I just applied a chapstick!

** A little heads up! Lush is a company that makes all natural soaps, bath bombs, lotions and more. Right now they have some soaps out (there limited additon so hurry and get some!) and they are called SHARK FIN SOAP. Now I watched a program with Chef Gordan Rasmy in it about how countries are killing sharks only for their fins. I also just saw it on the news they were talking about it too! So these special soaps are giving 100% of there profits to help stop that and giving to the Shark Saver foundation. I bought me and my sister one and they are so adorable too! Nails of the week!

THIS IS MORE OF THE TRUE COLOR

Sorry I'm a little bit late on this but I was way to tired to do it last night! I tried to take pictures of the color and on my camera it was truing out more on the PINKISH side. So Ill post a picture of what my camera looked like when I took a picture. I got another pic but I still feel like its still not the true color! But promise me this is the most perfect coral orange/pink ever. I love it!

PERFUME SALE!

So my dad and I went to kohls a little bit ago and on the announcement thing they said all women and men fragrances were 50% off! And they have perfume from juicy couture, Brittney spears, and SJP and faith hill and beyonce and haha so many! I mean they never have sails on there perfume and it was limited time only! Im not sure if only my Kohls was having it but it doesnt hurt to check yours out! I got Juicy Couture Viva la Juicy its usually $30 i got it for only 15! Really good deal so check your local Kohls out!

Spider lashes

Okay spider lashes are very in right now. They are all over the runway to. What spider lashes are they are suppose to look like little spider legs. I know sounds creepy. The look does consist of a little bit of kind of clumpy look in a way but not really. You can smooth it out. It really is all about mascara. And what tends to happen your lashes like start to stick together. I think I mastered it today! Ill say one thing you need to use lotsssss of coats. So I wouldn't recommend to use water proof mascara because it will be a pain to take off! You do have to use two to 3 masacra to get the look im not gonna lie because diffent mascaras do different things.

What you need:

Eyelash curler: I used revlons

Covergirls lash blast. I always come back to this mascara I always forget how good it works! I use this one because it give more volume to the look.


Maybelline Turbo Volume express. This one is really what gets you that spider effect. It brush is really what makes your lashes get that stick.


Revlon's Fablash. I use at the tips to give them more length.
